Woodside is highly rated and ideally located for exploring beautiful Ardnamurchan. Sunart and Moidart. The cottage is situated about 5 miles from Salen and 3 miles from Acharacle.
Spent a week at Woodside, A lovely home from home and all the amenities contained inside ensured a comfortable week. Great views from the deck at the back of the house across Mingarry Burn, River Shiel to the montains above Acharacle. Lots of walks, things to see in the area. Woodside ideally situated in the centre of Ardamurchan for exploring all corners. Tony is an extremely good host, any questions or queries were answered super fast. A great place to stay, which we thoroughly enjoyed

A great property in a beautiful area of the country. Tony’s communication was excellent and plenty of useful information was provided on the local area and wildlife. The house is well equipped with everything you need and Tony really had covered everything. We highly recommend Woodside.

This was a return visit so I already knew how absolutely lovely and well equipped the cottage is. It did not disappoint! It is also perfectly located for so many of the local places of interest and beauty spots. The local wildlife is amazing too, last year I had red squirrels on the patio most mornings; this year it was a pair of pine martens in the evening! I also saw otters, eagles and dolphins nearby. I shall definitely be returning again soon .

Lovely house, well equipped. Great venue for looking around Ardnamurchan. Very comfy place to be. Kitchen has all you need. Plenty of space around the house. Close to Acharacle for shop and eateries/cafe. Helpful information provided by Tony, the owner. Good tip to top up with fuel before coming to the peninsula. Seen sea eagles, seals, pine martin, deer. Lovely place!

Property in good location for exploring the peninsula and surrounding area. It is well equipped and although near the road, it doesn't affect the privacy

Perfect cottage in beautiful surroundings, very comfortable and cosy with easy to light woodburner and control over central heating. Comfortable large bed with amazing view from window, good bath and powerful shower. Kitchen has everything needed with good quality crockery, utensils and pots and pans (it even has a wok!) Added bonus of dishwasher and washing machine with airer to dry clothes on. Wifi excellent and good mobile signal. Small loch at back of cottage had heron visiting every day and 5-8 deer most days, saw a red squirrel running across the road. Good sighting of beautiful white-tailed eagle over Loch Sunart. We are booking to go back again next year.
